Purpose: The objective of this activity is for students to be able to evaluate a website's validity. It is important for students to be able to tell the difference between false and legitimate information posted online. To start the activity, follow the steps below.
1. Go to http://www.genochoice.com/
2. Answer the following questions using the above website, and search engines such as Google (http://www.google.com/) to find websites that end in .edu, .gov, or .org to validate the website.

+Notice that on the clone tab of the GenoChoice page (http://www.genochoice.com/clone.shtml) there is an option for you to put your thumb to the screen and "scan" for DNA. How does this work? Can you find any evidence that DNA can be extracted through the screen?
+GenoChoice Institute is apart of the RYT Hospital, Dwayne Medical Center. Using Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps/preview) can you pinpoint where the hospital is? How many miles is it from your house?
